Phoenix Phaxx’ Pocket Guide to The Great Commission is a fun online program adventure brought to you by Far East Broadcasting Company in cooperation with Sonlight Curriculum, Ltd. Participants will explore five different locations, Russia, Indonesia (Bali and Jakarta), Cambodia and South Korea, with 13-year-old host, Phoenix Phaxx through a series of online videos and related educational content. The theme is The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), with Phoenix Phaxx asking two questions throughout the series of “Who will tell them?” and “How will they know?” (Romans 10:14).
During the project, you're encouraged to collect loose change/cash and find creative ways to raise extra money to help provide a wind-up or portable radio so children and families can hear about Jesus through Gospel broadcasts. At the end of the program you may make a gift online or by using the envelope included in your Welcome Kit. The cost of each radio is $30, which in remote villages has the potential of reaching 25 people with the Good News.
After you sign up and give us your name and shipping address, please allow 7-10 business days for your Welcome Kit to be shipped. Each kit includes a special magazine, bookmarks and a radio box for each family participating. You do not need to have your Welcome Kit before you start Phoenix Phaxx’ Pocket Guide to The Great Commission adventure.

We are not expecting you to send the loose change or cash to us. In fact please don't send any cash through the mail. We are asking participants to count their loose change/bills and submit the amount as an online donation at the end of this project. You can also send in a check for the total amount. A receipt will be issued for every gift given.
No, we are not able to send radios from the US to our ministry fields. FEBC does not purchase the special wind-up or portable radios in the US. The shipping and customs cost would be prohibitive if purchased in the US and there is no guarantee the radios would make it through customs.
The monies raised for radios are sent to the different ministry fields and shortwave/AM capable radios are purchased in-country.

Background: FEBC is committed to the Bible as God’s inspired Word. We do many wonderful things through our daily programming: Gospel broadcasting, on-air counseling, call in discussion forums, music, specialty programs for women and children, health and educational programs. These broadcasts make a significant impact in the lives of our listeners. But what matters most is each individual’s decision to receive or reject God’s offer of salvation through Jesus Christ. We will not allow our focus to drift from this central and eternal issue. Since we take the Bible as God’s Word to humanity, we will teach it faithfully to our listeners.
